Walmart Marketplace Referral Fee Mapping in Flashpricer
Flashpricer's referral fee mapping feature ensures that your products are correctly mapped to the applicable referral fees on Walmart Marketplace. This process is designed to be automatic, but it also allows for manual adjustments, providing flexibility and control over your product listings. Below, we explain how this process works and how you can make manual overrides if necessary.
Automatic Referral Fee Mapping Process
1. Category-Based Mapping
- Flashpricer first attempts to map your product to the appropriate referral fee category using the data from the Walmart Marketplace referral fees table: https://marketplace.walmart.
- If the product category cannot be mapped, a default referral fee of 15% is applied.
2. Sales Reconciliation Check
- Flashpricer reviews the Reconciliation report to check for any sales of the product within the last 60 days.
- If sales are found, the fee associated with the product's sale is used.
- If no sales are recorded for the product within the last 60 days, the system reverts to the category-based mapping.
Manual Override of Referral Fees
Manual Overrides:
- You can manually override the referral fees assigned to your products at any time.
- These overrides will take precedence over automatic mapping and will remain in effect indefinitely unless changed.
How to Override Referral Fees:
- Access the product page in the Flashpricer UI.
- Manually adjust the referral fee for individual products.
- Alternatively, you can upload a bulk file to update the referral fees for multiple products simultaneously.
Viewing and Exporting Current Referral Fees
- The current referral fees applied to your products can be viewed directly within the Flashpricer UI.
- You can also export a detailed report of these fees from the product page.
By following these steps, Flashpricer ensures that your referral fees are always up-to-date and accurate, allowing you to focus on optimizing your sales and revenue.
