Editing WFS Fees
There are two options for editing the WFS Fees within Flashpricer:
- Fill in the Package Information
- Override the Fee Amount
1. Fill in the Package Information
On the left-hand side of the edit modal, you can input the package dimensions, unit weight, and any additional product details. The information on the right will update based on your inputs.
Package Dimensions
Enter the following in inches:
- Length
- Width
- Height
Unit Weight (lbs)
Enter the weight of the product in pounds.
Additional Product Details
Check the boxes that apply to the listing. If none apply, leave them blank:
- Your item is an article of clothing.
- Your item is or contains a chemical, aerosol, pesticide, or battery.
2. Override the Fee Amount
You can manually override the WFS fee amount if needed. This manual override takes precedence over other fee calculations.
Determination Order for Fees
Flashpricer determines which WFS shipping fee to use based on the following hierarchy:
- Fee from the most recent settlement report: Flashpricer uses the fee from the most recent sales report.
- Override the WFS Fee Amount: If there is no fee from the most recent settlement report, the manually entered fee overrides all other values.
- Weight and Dimensions from the Edit Modal: If no sales report data is available, the system uses the weight and dimensions provided in the edit modal.
- Weight from the Item Report Without Dimensions: If dimensions are missing, Flashpricer uses the weight from the Walmart item report.
- Default to 1 lb: If weight is not available in the item report, the system defaults to using a weight of 1 lb.
Bulk Uploading Product Information
Users can bulk upload product dimensions, weight, or manually override the fee using a CSV file. Ensure the CSV file includes the following columns (Fields marked with * are required):
- *SKU
- *Sales Channel ID
- Shipping Package Weight
- Shipping Package Length
- Shipping Package Width
- Shipping Package Height
- Fulfillment override fee
- These are mapped fields, which means they won't appear in our generic upload template. You can name the columns as you wish, and when you upload the file to Flashpricer, you'll have the option to map the fields. For more information on mapping fields for an upload in Flashpricer, please refer to the following article: https://flashpricer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/15602410703764-Bulk-Updates-via-CSV
In some cases, Flashpricer may not automatically determine the correct field to map a column to. When this happens, simply click the dropdown menu and select the appropriate field.
Important Notes:
- The line will error if any part of the dimensions is missing or if the weight is less than 0.
- To clear any data, leave the corresponding cell blank in the CSV file.
Walmart Fulfillment Fee Priority
The actual fulfillment fee from Walmart, obtained during the most recent settlement period, overrides all other fees set within the application. This ensures the most accurate and up-to-date fee is always applied. If there are no sales in the most recent report, we will fall back to the hierarchy outlined above.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage and update your WFS fulfillment fees in Flashpricer, ensuring accurate pricing and fee calculations for your products.
