How to set Min/Max Prices on Amazon
To ensure consistency in your min/max prices across Flashpricer Repricer and Amazon, it's essential to synchronize them. This prevents discrepancies and potential pricing errors that could affect your listings. Follow the steps below to seamlessly manage your prices:
1. Access Amazon Seller Central:
Navigate to the Add Products via Upload page within your Seller Central account and navigate to the "Download spreadsheet" section.
2. Choose Upload Type:
Select the "Update price & quantity" template
3. Complete the Template:
First, Open the file, navigate to the "template" tab. now add your SKUs to the template under the "SKU" column, your minimum price to the "minimum-seller-allowed-price" column and your maximum price to the "maximum-seller-allowed-price" column. For instance, set your minimum price to $0.01 and maximum price to $1000.
4. Upload the File:
Save the file as a tab delimited .txt. Now locate the saved .txt file on your computer, and upload it to Amazon on the "Upload your spreadsheet" section.
Important Note: Note that we will always make sure that you are never priced outside of the parameters you set in our system, so you can comfortably set a low min and high max price (i.e. $0.01 and $1000) by editing the file you've downloaded and your listings will not be flagged by Amazon for potential pricing errors.
What to Do If You Encounter Pricing Errors on Amazon:
If your listings face pricing errors on Amazon, it's crucial to address them promptly to avoid disruptions. Here's what you need to know:
- Reasons for Pricing Errors: Pricing errors can occur if min/max prices are not set on Amazon or if they differ from those in our system.
- Consequences: Listings with pricing errors may be temporarily taken down by Amazon. Additionally, prices deemed too low or too high by Amazon's algorithm can lead to delisting or flagging for potential pricing errors. - Automated Re-listing: By aligning your min/max prices on Amazon with your defined range inside Flashpricer, any items previously taken down due to potential pricing errors will automatically be relisted.
